Our Story

Some companies begin with a product. Salintus Health began with two people who refused to stop dreaming, two journeys woven into one, like the infinity symbol you see in our logo.

2013 — The Leap

We are Mafe and Yesid. Back in Colombia, Mafe was an emergency-room physician who had wanted to help people since she was six; Yesid was a visionary who left home at just eighteen to earn his degree in dentistry, then reinvented himself inside INVIMA, the country's national health authority, mastering the world of regulation, safety, and quality control. When our paths crossed, our dreams merged into one — and in 2013 we landed in Canada to build it from nothing.

2013–2020 — The Struggle Years

What followed was a decade of stubborn, joyful perseverance. While caring for her oldest daughter and pregnant with her second, Mafe studied relentlessly to pass her MCCQE medical licensing exams. Though three rounds of residency applications didn't yield the match she worked so hard for, she learned that the real value was in the journey, not the prize. Beside her, Yesid had the grit to climb behind the wheel of a five-ton truck, delivering across Toronto until he built his own owner-operator business — a company proudly named after their children.

2021–2025 — The Turning Point

We raised our children side by side and took on every job that came our way — each role uncovering new skills, from technology and innovation to the science of holistic health: the gut, the microbiome, the quiet power of nutrition, rest, and connection.

2026 — Salintus Health is Born

Only now do we see it: every step, without our realizing, was quietly bringing us closer to Salintus. Our discipline and healing journey wove a path of wellness, and after crossing many obstacles, we are ready now to present it to others to regenerate lives and transform futures.
